To all my American friends and customers, my heart breaks for you every day and I cannot encourage you enough to find community and surround yourself with people who make you feel safe. Stay strong, organize and fight back as much as you can while making your safety and health your primary focus. Keep learning and keep (or start) having difficult discussions. You matter and have more power than you think. More than they are trying to have you think.

For a lot of us, we were raised wondering how such horrors were allowed to bloom and bear fruits for so long in the past. And liked to believe we would’ve done something to stop it if we had been alive then. The time to stop history from repeating itself is now.
